Survival Training
As the former national program manager of the Dept. of Homeland Security, office of Air and Marine's Primary Aviation Survival School, IHS Training's owner and primary instructor, Brian Webb fully understands just how important survival training can be. Nobody plans to be in a life or death survival situation; however, far too often people find themselves in just that. Having the skills and knowledge to keep yourself alive for 48 to 72 hours in the most hostile environments can mean the difference between coming home alive and first responders working on a recovery mission.
IHS Training has been providing survival training since its conception. This is not a Bear Grylls sensationalized course like you see on TV. We come to your facility and teach real-life, proven skills that can keep you alive until you are rescued. We specialize in survival training for flight crews; however, with the exception of aircraft evacuations, these skills apply to any survival situation. Most of our students have been missionary pilots who fly for organizations such as MAF, JARS and New Tribe Missions.

Survival training requires a tremendous amount of knowledge, equipment and manpower. Depending on the client and size of the class, IHS Training partners with our trusted friends at Emergency Response International when teaching many of these courses. Course Cost
The cost for our survival training courses truly depends on what the client wants and the number of students. We have clients like Beechcraft and Cessna that bring us in repeatedly for a full week of training to include life raft and parachute drills which require pool rental, multiple days in the field for over a hundred students and requires multiple instructors. We have other clients that bring us in for just a day or two and some who bring us in to run men's church retreats. The costs are quite affordable but obviously vary greatly depending on your needs.
